Add bought his Escort back in December 2005 after driving a Fiesta for three years since passing his test. An upgrade was required as the Fiesta had been showing signs of death for a while. He had always liked the Series 2 RS Turbo, so the search began. He ended up settling on the Diamond white example you see here, although it was in quite a sorry state when he found it.

Many months on, a lot of cleaning and a stack of receipts later this was the result. A very clean Escort RS Turbo, and with 230bhp on tap it defiantly had the go to match the show. All the time, money and sleepless nights finally paid as at RSOC Central Day 2007, the car was photographed for a feature in Fast Ford Magazine.

No sooner had the magazine been published Add managed to blow the engine up. He then made the decision to strip and restore the car, but after 2 years he ended up buying a TVR T350.
